01 / Overview

What it is, and what it isn't.

Many clients come to us with an existing portfolio that has never been reviewed by anyone independent of whoever sold it. The Investment Clinic is a structured second opinion: we assess what you have against what you need, and give you a written report.

The clinic is not a sales process. We charge a fixed fee for the review and give you an honest assessment. If your current arrangement is good, we will say so. If it isn't, we will tell you exactly why and what to do instead.

02 / Benefits

Why our clients use it.

The four things our clients most often tell us they value, drawn from a decade of conversations about this part of our work.

01

Genuinely independent

No product to sell. Our fee covers the review, and we are paid the same whether we recommend change or not.

02

Written report

A plain-English report covering performance, cost, risk, tax efficiency and suitability.

03

No obligation to switch

The review is standalone. You decide what to do with the findings.

04

Cost transparency

We decode the true total cost of your current arrangement, often a revelation.

04 / Frequently asked

The questions we actually get asked.

If yours isn't covered, we're an email or a phone call away; see Contact below.

01
What does the clinic cost?
+
The initial portfolio review is complimentary. If you decide to proceed with a full engagement, any further fees are agreed upfront and disclosed in writing before work begins.
02
What do I need to provide?
+
Annual statements for the last three years, the most recent key information documents for any products, and any previous advice letters.
03
Will you tell my existing advisor?
+
No, the clinic is completely confidential. Many clients simply want reassurance before moving.
04
What happens if I want to move my portfolio afterwards?
+
We will discuss the options and costs of moving. If you decide to move it to us, the clinic fee is deducted from the first year's management charge.
